Types Of Marine Carpets

NOTE:  All of our marine carpets can be used not only for boats but for docks, decks, patios, poolside, cars, planes, basements, garages and any place where a quality outdoor marine carpet is needed.  Syntec Marine Carpet is superior to standard indoor outdoor carpets in terms of comfort, durability, resistance to water, mold, mildew and UV-deterioration such as sun fading or discoloration.  Remember, quality marine carpet is made to withstand constant moisture and dampness while at the same time providing that soft-to-the-touch feel.  Syntec's patented UV-stabilized rubber backing acts as a barrier, preventing water from penetrating through the carpet and is flexible so installation is easy.  You can wrap lids, carpet around edges, corners and other contours.  Our marine carpeting will not allow water to pass through it, protecting the surface below from moisture.

16oz Marine Carpet – Our 16oz marine carpet is available in both 6’ and 8’ widths. This marine carpet is manufactured by Syntec Industries, a major manufacturer of marine carpet to new boat builders. The style of our 16oz marine carpet is called Syntec Aggressor 160, which is a Cut Pile style of marine carpet perfect for bass boats, pontoon boats or any boat that requires a high quality synthetic carpet. (When the term "cut pile" is used think of a bunch of carpet fibers standing straight up like little hairs, there are no loops or texture) This is the same marine carpet used by leading boat manufacturers across the country. Produced with a special blend of UV-resistant resilient polypropylene fibers designed to withstand traffic, resist staining, mold and mildew. This style of marine carpet is an excellent value and will provide years of service and cleans up easily with house-hold detergent and warm water. Also great for use as an outdoor carpet for docks and patios.

20oz Marine Carpet – Our 20oz marine carpet is available in both 6’ and 8’ widths. This carpet is manufactured by Syntec Industries and is used by new boat manufacturers in the race to improve and update boats to fill the needs of recreational boaters and fishermen. The style of our 20oz marine carpet is called Syntec Traditional 208, which is a plush Cut Pile style of marine carpet perfect for boaters who want to use the highest quality marine carpet available for their bass boat, pontoon boat or pleasure boat. Our 20oz marine carpet is a thicker, heavier and more durable carpet constructed of heavy-duty polypropylene fibers to withstand the heaviest traffic. Resistant to UV deterioration, staining, mold and mildew this top quality marine carpet cleans up easily with house-hold detergent and warm water and is the standard on today’s quality bass boats, ski boats and bow riders.

20oz Tip Shear Textured Marine Carpet – Our 20oz textured marine carpet is only available in 8’ widths. This marine carpet is manufactured by Sparta Carpets and is the same textured carpet found in OEM-manufactured pontoon boats because of its durability, great looks and the cost effective performance is provides. The style of our 20oz textured marine carpet is called Tip Shear, which is a mixture of our Cut Pile marine carpet and Cut Loop textured carpet basically giving it a berber look. Not only is this high-grade yarn material resistant to stains and water, it also resists fading in the bright UV light of sunny days. The rubber backing is easy to lay and resists rotting from long storage periods in damp conditions. Bring your older runabout or pontoon boat back to its original beauty with color selections that matches just about any existing shade of boat. 28oz Sculptured Marine Carpet – Our 28oz textured marine carpet is only available in 8-1/2” width and is the thickest, most luxurious marine carpet we offer. A mixture of tight looping yarns and looser cut pile fibers our luxury marine carpet is standard equipment on today’s boats.  This super plush marine carpet will provide the softest and most comfortable feel and is ideal for boats with wider beams.
