This marine carpet is the same textured carpet found in many of today's brand new pontoon boats because of its durability, great looks and the cost effective performance is provides. Due to the mixture of looping fibers this style of carpet resembles a berber carpet. The style of our 18oz textured marine carpet is called Cut Loop 180, which is a mixture of our Cut Pile marine carpet and Cut Loop textured carpet. The polypropylene yarn is looped in tight bundles in areas giving it the look of a Berber style outdoor carpet. Not only is this high-grade yarn material resistant to stains and water, it also resists fading in the bright UV light of sunny days. The rubber backing is easy to lay and resists rotting from long storage periods in damp conditions.
